Been a bit quiet on the blogging front, as I've had a couple of weekends without any craft fairs. Looking forward to this weekend in Woodstock Town Hall at Margaret King's craft fair, which is always a pleasure to be at, even if sales are quiet. I'm hoping for as successful a time as last month's outing, but numbers can be very unpredictable at this particular event. Fingers crossed!!
My first wedding commission seems to have gone down a storm. I'm so relieved as I was really feeling the pressure on this one. It has also inspired me to pick up a needle and thread and get on with some more beadweaving - time consuming but I'm almost always proud of the end result. Piccies can be seen on my Facebook page "Nix Bits Jewellery & Crafts".
New bits for my camera are on their way, after Bod the cat had a little mishap with the last lot. Hopefully this means I'll be able to produce some half-decent piccies for the online shop soon.....watch this space.......
Best news of all is that we've booked our hols. We're off to San Francisco and Carmel, so if anyone can recommend good places to visit and where to eat out, any suggestions would be gratefully received. I just can't wait, as I've only been to San Francisco very briefly before & absolutely fell in love with the people, atmosphere and, especially, the breakfasts ;). I'm also hoping to stock up on Gold Toe socks at Macy's, as the ones I bought in New York are finally going into holes after 10 or more years - yes, I'm easily pleased (and a bit sad, maybe?!).
Well, that's enough wittering from me. Hope you're all enjoying the sunny weather and not working too hard..........
